Expanding the Kingdom: The New Church Land in Idiahun
Learn more about our upcoming church plant and how you can be part of the vision.
Growth is a sign of life—especially in the Kingdom of God. From its humble beginning in a small apartment in Ibadan, Rock of Christ Church International has continually expanded because God is multiplying the work of His hands. Today, we celebrate another chapter of growth: the acquisition of new land in Idiahun, Abese, Elebu Road, designated for a new church plant.
This expansion is not just a building project; it is a divine assignment. The new land represents an opportunity to establish a center of worship, prayer, healing, and community impact in a growing environment hungry for God. The prophetic mandate to expand aligns with God’s Word in Isaiah 54:2: “Enlarge the place of thy tent… spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.”
Why Idiahun? Because God has positioned it as fertile ground—a place where families are growing, youths are seeking direction, and souls are thirsty for the truth of Christ. The new branch will serve as a spiritual lighthouse, a place where people encounter God, receive deliverance, and discover their destiny.
The vision for the church plant includes:
- A vibrant worship center
- A children and youth development hub
- Community outreach programs
- Evangelism training and discipleship classes
- A prayer and counseling center
- Media and technological infrastructure for outreach
But this vision is bigger than one person; it requires a united church family. Every prayer, every seed, every volunteer, every supporter becomes part of the spiritual foundation being laid.
The Lord is inviting partners into this assignment. Just as Moses needed men to lift his hands, Nehemiah needed builders for the wall, and Paul needed ministry supporters, this project needs believers who will rise and say, “I am part of this vision.”
When we build for God, He builds our lives. When we invest in His Kingdom, He invests in our future. When we plant a church, we plant hope for generations yet unborn.
Join us as we take this prophetic step forward. Together, we are expanding the Kingdom—one soul, one family, one community at a time.
